Accerts presents its official Cannes 2026 slate
The official announcement is out from the Marché du Film: Bestefar, co-produced by Sun Factory Films, is among the completed titles available for worldwide distribution.

This morning, from Cannes, Accerts Productions released its official Marché du Film 2026 slate. Among the completed films going out for worldwide distribution is Bestefar, produced by Sun Factory Films.
Films ready for distribution
The slate is split into two blocks. First, the finished titles available for licensing, sales and distribution:
An Argentine expat in the Pacific Northwest returns home and finds himself a stranger in his own country. 49 of the 68 scenes were shot in Córdoba with Sun Factory production services.
A completed animated short on the life and legacy of Carlos Gardel. Stylized animation, tango, and drama for contemporary international audiences.
Karen Huseby receives a message from Norway: the granddaughter of a woman who, nearly a hundred years ago, had a romance with her grandfather. What starts as curiosity becomes a journey through letters, old photographs and Scandinavian landscapes. A story about immigration, memory, love and war.
Bestefar premiered at the American Film Market 2024 and arrives at the Marché looking for the screens it deserves.

Projects in development
The second block has nine projects at various stages of packaging and financing:
Wake — prestige psychological family drama, production planned in Australia late 2026. Andrew — dark psychological mystery. The Hanging Man — elevated horror for contained production, summer 2026 in the US. Girl Up Amigo! — action comedy. The Last Chance — survival drama based on a true story. Limerence — auteur romantic drama shot on film, created by Jerumai. Train 8 — sci-fi thriller based on a graphic novel, with David Stephan and Travis Malloy. Port Chicago — historical civil rights drama. What Momma Wants — family drama in development.
